We built Firefox OS as a mobile OS that puts the Web and Open Web Apps at the centre of the mobile experience. The efforts to reduce the performance gaps between the Web and native are paying rich dividends and our work on exposing device capabilities to the Web via WebAPIs, have made web first app development a viable alternative to native platforms.

Mozilla launches the open-source furniture program

Open-source furniture program

OA floor consists of the plastic palette units covered with the wood panel. Cables to every direction are concealed in the units by passing through that.

Recently, Mozilla Japan’s new office was designed by NOSIGNER. They designed all furnitures based on the idea of Open Source. They used general products and uploaded all drawings to the website. Therefore, these designs might also be able to call the “open source furniture” so to speak. Because these designs enable everyone to make functional office furnitures inexpensively.
